Stevie Chapman
Stevie Chapman graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in history. She decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an attorney and attended McGeorge School of Law. After reading Just Mercy, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in criminal defense.
Prior to working with Walsh Law, Stevie interned at the Placer County Public Defender's Office as a certified law student. Under the direct supervision of an attorney, she managed her own caseload, represented clients in court, drafted and argued motions, and secured a dismissal during her first trial. She worked with the Public Defender's Office for six years, first as a law student and then as an attorney.
As an attorney, Stevie handled a wide variety of misdemeanor and felony cases. She is experienced in DUIs, general misdemeanors, domestic violence, felonies, and trials. She also drafted and argued the Public Defender's Office's first Racial Justice Act motion.
Stevie now brings that courtroom experience to clients at Walsh Law.
